3rd edition? 3rd edition!? We don't need no stinking third edition!!

Yes you do and here's why... Seven years ago Chain Reaction burst onto the scene. The unique Reaction System took the gaming world by surprise. Two years later we took it even farther with Chain Reaction 2.0, the rules that delivered unparalleled realism for modern day combat. And better yet, you could use any figures you already had!

And now we're giving you Chain Reaction 3.0. That's right, giving you. As in "it's free". All the latest mechanics currently used by our regular games like 5150, All Things Zombie and the rest.

Free.

Because we want you to try the Origins Award winning Reaction System which Two Hour Wargames is built around.

It's not for everyone. If you like total control of your forces then just keep walking because you'll hate it. If you want realism where you control yourself and your forces succeed or fail based on your leadership skills, then you've come to the right place.

Just try it and if you like it then there's a whole world of games covering a variety of genres and periods waiting for you. And you STILL can use any figures you already have!

And if you don't like CR 3.0 it's all good. Because really it's all about playing games that you like.

Two Hour Wargames - Just play the game!

Paul Anderson 8 8 8 Having used The Book of MARS (FASA) extensively for modern combat and skirmish battles for the past thirty years, CR3 simplifies things and removes a lot of bookkeeping that can bog down the campaigns. It truly makes skirmish warfare a lot quicker.
Matthew Davoli 10 7 8 Great game, but could use a few more examples.
chris wilson 10 6 8 For a free ruleset this was a good framework. It is adaptible enough that it can be bolted onto other rules systems that don't have their own solo rules.
fred nurd 10 8 8 Great ideas that take you away from the artificiality of I go you go systems.
Joe Wiltshire 10 8 9 Makes minis battles sensible but still getting used to which guys have had a go when 2 characters have had a running gun battle with 5 or more shots at each other before resolution.
